1. Job requirements
Minimum requirements of the candidate:
• 15+ years in enterprise IT systems and release management
• 10+ years in DevOps (incl. Git, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence)
• 5+ years in multi-cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, OVH), Kubernetes, Docker, blockchain
• Must hold a Bachelor’s (EQF Level 6) or Master’s (Level 7) degree in IT/Engineering. Non-EU degrees require diploma scans.
• Excellent technical writing, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Must be available to start within 1–2 weeks from contract signature (the earlier, the better)
2. Certification and Standards
• Certifications required:
o One of: AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional, Google Cloud DevOps, Microsoft DevOps Expert, or DevSecOps Professional
o TOGAF certification mandatory
3. Service Delivery
The services will be carried out on a full-time basis at remote from any EU Member State, with availability to travel to Brussels within 2 hours (ground transport)
Equipment will be provided by the Commission.
4 Application requirements:

• Motivation letter (written by the consultant/freelancer)
• Completed technical use-case responses (template will be provided)
• Diplomas (scanned copy for non-EU degrees)
• Availability confirmation
